Mad Cat Garden | July 2021

July in the garden fiiiiinaly saw us getting to harvest some good veggies!! We got tomatoes, peppers, blueberries, ground cherries, tomatillos, and more! At the end of the month we are deep into tomatoes season and so happy to be there. Bc we seed forage, some of the veggies we grew are a surprise! I think these weird round peppers we grew are actually jalepanos, but they are like xmas baubles!

Every morning, me and the cats look out on this view to start the day.

A non edible plant that grows naturally in our yard/garden are these “deadly” nightshade. Such a beautiful plant! But do not eat!!

Someone else has been enjoying the tomatoes as well!! By the jaw marks, I think this is a possum!! Whomever it is, they come around each night and take one bite out of all the low hanging tomatoes.

How is your garden growing?
