As with many things in life, Douglas Adams loved the kākāpō, so now I do too. Their story of coming back from the brink of extinction is extraordinary. 2019 was a record year for these fatties, but also came with a new threat, an Aspergillosis outbreak.
I had never heard of Genesis Breyer P-Orrige before he/r death, but now I am fascinated.
